Come out to a fundraising happy hour at Boundary Stone this Wednesday! Boundary Stone will generously donate to the Park a significant portion of sales from 4-7pm, this Wednesday, June 4. All proceeds go to maintaining Crispus Attucks Park. Meet your neighbors, enjoy good food and drink, and raise some money for a valuable local cause!
Hope to see you there!
We are pleased to announce that this year’s Community Day and Yard Sale featuring the Taste of Bloomingdale was an enormous success! Hundreds of area residents spent part of their Saturday browsing the yard sale, tasting food from area restaurants, learning about local community organizations, and listening to great music, all with the purpose of supporting the park. And it worked! Together, we raised enough funds to cover around half of Crispus Attucks Park’s operating budget for the entire year.
Thank you to everyone who participated—yard sale vendors, shoppers, non-profits, and especially our local businesses and restaurants who donated precious time and resources to help maintain the unique community resource that is Crispus Attucks Park.
And thank you to everyone who took time out of their Saturday to support Crispus Attucks Park. We hope everyone who came enjoyed the beautiful weather and had a wonderful time!
These restaurants and businesses (in no particular order) supported this year’s event. Please make it a point to thank and show your support for them!
Crispus Attucks Park is hosting our 11th annual Community Day this Saturday, May 17, from 8am to 2pm. It features Bloomingdale’s largest yard sale and, for the third year, the Taste of Bloomingdale, where you can sample dishes from local restaurants. We’ll also have a band, representatives from many local nonprofit organizations and churches, and good weather (of course!). This is the largest yearly fundraiser for Crispus Attucks Park, and a ton of fun to boot!
Come visit the park, enjoy the food booths and stalls, and help pay it forward! There is no fee to enter.
Welcome to the new Crispus Attucks Park website! We are very excited to roll out our redesigned website, which, for the first time, will allow us to share news updates like this. We hope you find it easier to get the information you want about the Park and Crispus Attucks Development Corporation, and to stay in communication with us.
We’ve retained some of the favorite sections of the old website, including:
