Crispus Attucks Park’s Biggest Fundraiser
Some days remind you exactly why you love where you live. Bloomingdale Community Day was one of those days, an event powered by more than 30 volunteers, featured a record-breaking lineup of vendors, artisans, and sponsors.
Together, with our neighbors, we raised almost half of Crispus Attucks Park’s annual budget, keeping this special community third space vibrant for years to come. Behind every number is a neighbor who showed up.

Back by popular demand, Bloomingdale Community day is pleased to have our annual Dog Show on May 16 at 1pm!
The recommended minimum donation is $15 per dog, which covers as many categories as you’d like to enter.
Agility Course – An even bigger course. And still no actual skills expected.
Best Trick – Here’s your chance to show off
Musical “Chairs” – New this year! A playful scramble using hula hoops
Best in Show – Zero standards, completely subjective, and of course 100% fair. Which dog will charm the crowd and the judges the most with their cuteness, their character, their je ne sais quoi?
